Westpeak Posted May 31, 2016 Share I dig it actually. Looks classy, Kinda like polo. But maybe Westpeak can let us in on why they chose that as a logo. The thinking behind the Kudu is what it stands for (in our eyes) as I mentioned in reply to Dynamix: "outdoor, humble, good-looking, hardy and most importantly proudly South Africa". We want the brand to appeal to all adventurous, nature loving South African's and believe the Kudu does that. Long Wheel Base

Our company logo's are trademarked - and it has saved us a lot of hassle over the years - find someone who knows what they are doing with this - it's a specialist field - I can put you in contact with the oversized firm who did ours, but that's up to you. Surely if it's been designed from scratch by a designer there is no need to trademark it? You can't own the Kudu as an icon? I'm asking out of curiosity as I am a designer and never needed to go through this process...yet. Westpeak

shaper Posted May 31, 2016 Share Bad marketing to launch before the website is ready, before product is ready and before you have finalised retail prices.... does not give a good impression! Almost liked a half baked business plan testing the water! I dont want to seem overly pessimistic.... but waiting until you have all your ducks in a row would have been prevalent. Good luck with your venture TSF

Good luck with your venture Thanks for the input! We did consider it before we decided to launch, there were however a few factors that made us decide to go ahead with things. Being two students with no credit history etc, finding funding is a bit of a problem, and the only way we can get anything through our crowdfunding is to have something to show - bit of a catch 22. We also don't feel it necessary to have retail prices ready if we can't sell anything yet, but the prices on our crowdfunding campaign will give you a good indicator. Please let us know what isn't working properly on the website, we worked hard to make sure everything was running smoothly before today! Westpeak Posted May 31, 2016 Share the baggies: zip or buttons? The fly area is a zip with two buttons securing the front of the zip (if you know what I mean). The pockets are zipped. Hairy

T-Bob Posted May 31, 2016 Share All this naysaying... I like the look (though I've never owned a polo shirt in my life. Kinda looked like a banker on a casual day), so I'm going to throw some coin down. Baggies for sure and might mix it up the the trail polo in the bundle as well. I kickstarted the limits power meters (look how good that's been so far!) and you boys are doing better than them in my eyes. Westpeak
