The 2017 Masgcor Cederberg 100 Miler has launched a brand-new addition to an already great event. The Cederberg 100 Miler has been known as one of the must-do-events when it comes to marathon mountain biking. The 160km and 3000m elevation over the Cederberg mountain range, treks all the way from Clanwilliam to Koue Bokkeveld on one of South Africa’s most breathtaking gravel roads. Surrounded by the Cederberg’s unique fynbos veld-life, towering mountain peaks and ancient Bushmen history, it’s an event that will make you feel rather small.

Schweet.

I loved it, 3000m climbing is not for the faint hearted. If you are racing it, it's going to be tough, if you are riding it for the experience & views you will love it but might be out there for a minimum of 8:30 hours.

Just entered for the 2 day trek. Staying at Mount Ceder with the missus opposed to camping though. Pitching tents for 1 night only is a las, particularly after a 80 odd km bike ride.

I misread and thought that someone had built a 100 mile TRACK through the Cedarberg. Now that would be awesome. 160km on gravel roads, not so much. IMO.
