cpelser Posted December 16, 2016 Share Anyway, interestingly the word "trekking" means a long arduous journey on foot where there is usually no path available. The word itself actually stems from the South African Voortrekkers..Which is a fortunate coincidence seeing that you posted this on the old "Geloftedag" from the Voortrekkers' days.
