Pure Savage Posted February 9, 2017 Share It was a very early start to the morning out in Paarl for the first road race of the year, The Bouckaert-Soenen Road race run by the Paarl Rotary Club. Due to training for the Epic, XCO races and offspring due, only one Pure Savage was able to make it to the start in Paarl of the 124km route.Click here to view the article Duane_Bosch, snakedoc, Bloukrans and 3 others
Capricorn Posted February 9, 2017 Share the pace started picking up towards the N1 as riders started pulling their rip chords and parachuting out the back of the group :D if you need votes to get into a commentating job, you've got mine Pure Savage, Captain Fastbastard Mayhem, usxorf and 1 other
Skubarra Posted February 9, 2017 Share Nice race report Savage, must admit, other than helping to chase down the Savage rider after Bothmaskloof I didn't do much upfront on Sunday... Pure Savage

Skubarra Posted February 9, 2017 Share Nice report !! Might need to have this on the calendar It's a bit like a mini One Tonner The only part I do not enjoy is the stretch on the R44 between Windmeul & Klapmuts (that road is way to busy imo to host a big cycle race & be open for traffic - similar problem with Stellenbosch Cycle Tour). I would prefer they take us on the Fair View road back to Paarl. Pure Savage and Slowbee
