Bike Hub Features Posted February 14, 2017 Share YT Industries are best known for their freeride legends Cam Zink and Andreu Lacondeguy, and also have top downhill racer, Aaron Gwin on their books. The launch of the mini-downhill Capra enduro bike made waves with its excellent performance paired with a great value offering. A mid-travel 29er trail bike might not fit YT's image but it makes complete sense for them to approach this huge market. In reality, most people simply can’t or don’t want to ride like Lacondeguy or Gwinn.Click here to view the article

Headshot Posted February 14, 2017 Share I had the briefest of test rides on a lower spec ali model (with fancy wheels though) and my impression is echoed in this review. I will say this though - my 26er felt like a BMX bike after my brief stint on the Jeffsy, and I am in no hurry to swap it out for a slower handling 29er. The only problem is the price - these bikes are still far cheaper if bought in the EU.

You could almost factor in the price of plane tickets with the difference in price, so you could go pick it up yourself! I know it's not realistic (ignoring duties for the moment) but If you convert the retail price of the Jeffsy CF Two you get just over R47k for a bike that costs nearly R75k here. That's a helluva mark-up considering duties are presumably being paid on wholesale pricing..
