Oh ****.... I've been following this rollercoaster with hope and dread and happiness and sadness and memories and confusion....

I'm so so sorry to the family, hubbers, and random people who slipped in and out of Barry's life.

I had a giggle through my tears at the "yes, even his kidneys and liver" line :-) :-(

I will be in SA for the funeral and look forward to celebrating a life lived well with fellow Barryians.

please shake hands with Kevin and Ian on my behalf.

I made the promise on Facebook but will repeat it here.

I promised to Barry that I will make sure that all 5 of his furry children are properly taken of for the rest of their lives.

RIP Barry, don't fall off too many bikes where you are now.

Condolences to the family and friends - and the mutts too. Never a good day to lose a friend.

Life is going to be different without his wit and insights...

Extremely sad... condolences to the family.

Walking through Rosebank Mall with one of my favourite bicycle t-shirts - bumped into him wearing the same one;

"Nice shirt!"

"Yes, I know" and a wink.

Will for as long as that shirt holds together and when I wear it think of him.

RIP Barry.

Kevin, when you eventually read this, please accept my condolences.

What a huge emptiness that will be left on this forum.
