Rouxenator Posted August 18, 2017 Share you gonna love it. pure blissI'm sure of that. Last year I rode from Dwarskersbos up to that radar base at the top of the mountain and though to myself "It sure would be nice if there were some MTB trails up here". And so it was. Hellwarp Posted August 18, 2017 Share Special place to ride. Best enjoyed with a well prepared set of arms and legs. The 63km will test the best but will no doubt be a highlight in your MTB memory bank. Doing the 37km after a two year injury lay-off. rickus.jooste Posted August 31, 2017 Share Thanks for all the rad comments. Tickets are running out fast so hurry and enter! No water bridge this year on the long route due to the drought. There are some new trails to experience and new berms in just the right places. Weather looks good for the event - little rain for next week which will add some much needed grip for the fast riders. dev null Posted September 5, 2017 Share Entered myself and the wife for the 27km, and my son for the 37km. My knee is still bust, so I don't want to stuff it up before W2W. Also, someone told me that the route is quite tough, and not to underestimate it. I should really do the 37km. See you all there. Leaving Strand around 5h15 Saturday morning. rickus.jooste Posted September 7, 2017 Share We are so amped for saturday. The weather looks good - max of 28 and lots of sunshine. We had rain tuesday and a very wet mist the whole of today. Tomorrow rain again. The trails dry off quickly so saturday should be a trail riders dream. Hint : car pool with friends...it's the right thing to do....
