mecheng89 Posted March 6, 2017 Share HI Hubbers! Speaking to some fellow cyclists over the weekend got me thinking - should indoor training contribute to your weekly goals (distance or time) on Strava? Give me your opinions!
Butterbean Posted March 6, 2017 Share Yeah. They're harder miles anyway, cause it's either boring or a heavy ass workout. Count it. koukie, Bateleur1 and C1 Fracture

Yes, but (as they already do), they shouldn't count towards the challenges. mecheng89 and nonky
lechatnoir Posted March 6, 2017 Share They should count double... no hills to freewheel down! Veebee, ChUkKy, Patchelicious and 2 others
mecheng89 Posted March 6, 2017 Share Yes, but (as they already do), they shouldn't count towards the challenges. It won't contribute towards climbing challenges, unless you're using very fancy software. But why do you say that? Patchelicious
Pure Savage Posted March 6, 2017 Share Well as they are your goals, you have to live with them. Patchelicious
bertusras Posted March 6, 2017 Share But why do you say that? Because it's easier riding up Zwift mountain at a lower wattage and easier gearing, than it would be riding up an actual mountain, in my opinion.
Veebee Posted March 6, 2017 Share Yes, it counts. You still have to turn the pedals...
shaper Posted March 6, 2017 Share Counts to my TSS scores, so no reason why will not count on strava Patchelicious and Veebee
LongDonkey Posted March 6, 2017 Share Can just see the next wave of Stravaholes shouting "Strava!!!!!!" as they try overtake you in the spinning classes.
rudi-h Posted March 6, 2017 Share yip, i put everything on strava... even a manual entry for a treadmill run the only thing is to be honest and let your workout stats resemble the actual amount of effort that you put in... Not cool to set the Kickr on low resistance, pedal 45km/hr at 150W and claim 60km's for a 1h30 Zone 1 ride.
