Frosty Posted October 20, 2017 Share Good luck everyone. Bummed to be missing my favourite race route, as well as a 580km cycle from home to the start. Maybe next year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Big Phil Posted October 21, 2017 Share Hi. Justa heads-up. The Saturday ride is a real light, 35km leg-spinner and will start at 6:00am this Saturday - NOT 5:30am (so will give you more time to get through from Ballito). Cheers.DarylECCC - ChairmanNice ride ECC. Thanks!

Griffin Posted October 21, 2017 Share Whats the parking situation like at the start of the 106? (Pmb)I need to get my daughter to the start line, make sure she is sorted and hopefully watch the start.. then get out of there and jump ahead to wait at the next possible spot.Just me and her and would prefer not to have to drop her and leave her alone till the start
s14phoenix Posted October 21, 2017 Share A bit off topic but i just wanted to thank the good guys from ECCC. i rolled along on their shake down ride this morning. Great legs spin until my rear derailleur decided to snap off the hanger. to the guys who stopped and helped out and also then limped back to Suncoast Casino with me while I tried my new single speed. tip my hat. THANKS. ALSO thanks to Cyclesphere who sorted me with a new derailleur of a new bike. You gents are all stars and helped an out of townie without batting an eye. eccc whippet, Kalahari Vegmot, Frosty and 6 others

Ending up buying a while lot of other stuff I wouldn’t have bought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At least its better because it happened a day before the race. Edited October 21, 2017 by Job

Jase619 Posted October 21, 2017 Share And they do not say how long before start you need to be in shute? Not really, you will see guys standing with bike banners that state the start group. Just keep a look out for your group and then fall in behind.
