Coolspin Posted March 30, 2017 Share One of the main issues is the driving in SA. On any main road in Gauteng any morning you see madness on the roads, barrier lines mean nothing, emergency lanes are used as fast lanes, people drive off road on left or into oncoming traffic on the right. Many are unlicenced. Speeds are nuts in traffic and built up areas.Cops dont bust people for moving violations, hardly see JMPD in mornings. They love the 10:30 licence disc roadblocks though. Cyclists are sitting ducks. That wont change until the above does. Have to be very selective about time you ride ( especially weekends) as well as your routes. Like it or not your survival counts on it. R.i.p fellow cyclist. Very sad indeed. Sepia and Pure Savage
