Pure Savage Posted May 2, 2017 Share What is special about the spacers? Why would normal ones not work, looks like the front think is just a cover. shaper
shaper Posted May 2, 2017 Share Do you have an Aramex Global shopper account or someone in the UK? Can buy online and get delivered to the UK before being forwarded to here http://www.i-ride.co.uk/E-114-Aero-Fork-Spacers.aspx They do do international deliveries but looks like will be via SAPO so will take a while to be delivered From looking at the assembly guide https://www.argon18bike.com/uploads/files/assembly-guide-e-114.pdf . You could totally remove the tri-bars with integrated stem and this steerer cover plate and fit any tri-bars to a normal steerer Else from what I can figure out from the pics..... in the short term insert 1 1/8th spacers below the integrated stem (as shown in your pic) and just cover the gap which will be left between the top of the fork and the silver aero covers (indicated as item 7 and 2g in the assembly guide) with duck tape or silver tape to maintain the aero front end until such time you can source the correct 2g items. Cycling Major Posted May 2, 2017 Share What is special about the spacers? Why would normal ones not work, looks like the front think is just a cover. The spacers in the front is part of the integrated fork and without them the fork can pull out.I know it looks like only a cover but it is a little more complex. Actually a hassle :-)

Actually a hassle :-)Not sure on that ......the fork will be held in place by the integrated stem (item 7) and any normal spacers on the steerer (black part shown in your pic behind the stem). Looking at the assembly guide these aero spacers/covers do not look structural and able to take much load

Actually a hassle :-)It wont pull out, the spacers are stopping that from happening. The funky shims are there for looks not structure. Just put in normal spacers and some silver duct tape. 100%
