Ahh I see my error! I assumed he bought the bike second hand in january so that would have taken care of the warranty discount.

I could definitely be wrong then too, I just assumed he bought it new!

If he didnt then all of what I said doesnt really apply.

Its not worth selling it. Just keep it and buy another road bike.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay.

 

Advertise it at what you want for it and negotiate from there.

Looking HERE, does that more or less correspond to what you paid for it in Jan? If so I would cry in my hands if it only fetched R30k at a mere 6 months old. I'm sure you can squeeze R35k out of it.

 

But like the others said, unless you HAVE to sell it in order to buy another bike (like I currently do, sulk-sulk), I would just keep it for the rainy day when you feel like getting the adrenaline pumping.
