DemitriN Posted July 18, 2017 Share Can anyone suggest a better priced alternative to Shimano brake hoses? I need a 1.8m length and am quite over spending 10x more on branded bike parts than I do on spares for my VW ???? My brake system is Deore M447. Based in Cape Town Another question... Will I need to buy new fittings for the replacement hose or can I reuse the fittings on my old hose?
ABrooks Posted July 18, 2017 Share Saw these yesterday, can't comment on quality though, I have never used this. Only white is left unfortunately. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/alero-shimano-hydraulic-brake-cable-kit DemitriN

johannrissik Posted July 18, 2017 Share Confusing. The only hydraulic disc brakes I know of that use a cable are Yokozuna. Come on folks, it's hydraulic HOSE or brake CABLE. Except Yokozuna which use a cable to actuate the hydraulic caliper
