JohnnyB3 Posted July 27, 2017 Share I recently purchased a second hand bike with a rockshox reba 15mm through axle. I didn't notice when I bought it that the lip of the axle was shredded and now I can't remove the wheel. Any suggestions on a good fix?Should I just replace the axle or is there a way to fix it? stefmeister Posted July 27, 2017 Share Those RS maxle lites are pure ****. Get a maxle ultimate. Ask your LBS if you can't get it out. JohnnyB3 and herrowpreeze
droo Posted July 27, 2017 Share Bring it to me, I'll get it out for you. And show you how to install it properly so it doesn't get stuck again. Or if you've got a 15mm allen key, you can strip the locking lever and wedge out and there's a hex socket you can turn it out with. johannrissik and herrowpreeze
