Wonder in what order they send out the mails? Alphabetical for surname? Damn I am S, long wait. Start group? I should be # so like 2nd or 3rd group off. How many tours completed? 26 for me and 28 for my toppie.

Or will they sommer send 36k emails at once?

I'm R, so will at least get it before you if they do it that way, but a senior of the tour like you probably gets the email first haha.

Right, so what's on the menu today?

  • Cape Town water crisis
  • Weather
  • Possible protests
  • Seeding

Feel free to ad lib.

Got to add something about the EXPO in there.

And maybe a question or two about what deep sections to run on newly tarred chapmans decent ... :w00t:

* Are we allowed to use discs on our road bikes

Unless you are competing in a licenced group, nobody cares what brakes you have. Perfectly good to go from A - Z.

Gonna be doing the route this weekend, will inform you on which wheels to use on Sunday.

The road surface has settled and, to me, is perfectly good for racing on, but there is that damn pothole in the road just coming into Hout Bay. It's been there for months and nobody 'official' seems keen to sort it out. Choice of wheels will probably come down to wind conditions in my opinion.

Possible protests are my only concern. The protesters had a light-bulb moment last year and the light-bulb is still burning ......

Well, depending on what happens to Zumbie in the next few days or weeks, the potential protesters might be too busy celebrating/stabbing someone, to protest...
