rvdm1 Posted November 29, 2017 Share So guys, lets stop mucking about.... lets say what needs to be said..... Who's your money on to win this year? http://www.gstatic.com/tv/thumb/dvdboxart/27737/p27737_d_v8_aa.jpgI am rooting for Sthembiso Masango, could have been very competitive last year if not for a string of mechanical issues and some bad luck. Pulse Posted November 29, 2017 Share That must be a favourite... who else. I must say a small part of me really want the Benkster to do well this year. Maybe his Race to the Rock will pay off.I was also thinking about him... think he will be a serious contender. Obviously Im supporting other riders too but I dont think their first objective is to win it.

Dusty Posted November 29, 2017 Share If the weather is particularly bad, Mike Woolnough will come in to his own and be a contender for line honours. Pulse and johannrissik

Any idea on the wind?It is pretty hot, real feel temp at 34 now. On the route, they will get anything up to 39. Wind is not that strong, but it is a head wind at about 20 - 25km/h and definitely a factor Last year was insane, but we had a crazy hot Nov/Des in Free State.
