If the objections succeed in blocking this track for the reasons provided, it's a precedent that makes for a slippery slope from here on.. 

 

The article has been written from one side only, this is quite clear by the reasons provided. Please read and if you support the effort to responsibly construct and manage this proposed trail, send a one line email to the address supplied.

 

I think Meurant has proved himself several times over to be a responsible ambassador for trails in this country.

The irrational hate towards cyclists astounds me sometimes. Here is an initiative which costs ratepayers nothing, improves an area with free public access and may even get some young people more active and still there will be complaints.

Precisely.. and all the work from this advocacy group over many years group to dispel those myths is undone in people's minds in one swift divisive move. If they cannot see the good the Spur League, through Amarider, has done, then quite frankly they are blind, ignorant even.
