Grease_Monkey Posted April 29, 2018 Share XCO/Marathon - Aspen front and rear? How is the performance in wet weather? Currently running Forekaster front, Ardent Race rear, love the grip but I need to roll/climb a bit faster.Racing Ralph before this, fast but traction is a problem now in winter.I would go Aspen rear, Ardent Race front. Can't imagine an Aspen would do too well on the front in the wet weather. I've used Ardent Race (29x2.35) on the front in all weather with alot of success - good volume, nice side knobs for grip, rolls fast.
