Thanks, but I have a mother of a fan. I just have to adjust it to work. It was a little low.

But that looks like something that can move huge volumes of air [emoji23]

A shoutout to @Markellis for also contributing to the fund for the trainer,  Thank you Sir.  It is really appreciated.  Will try to take a spin again tonight.  The flu injection is taking a bit of a toll on me...

I think I must start getting my ink on paper on what Bikehub has done for me over the past two and a half years.  This community of cyclists are AMAZING!  Thanks again everyone for being there for me through this trying times.  If I did not have Reinet and you guys and girls around, I would have offed myself long ago, but I have something to fight for, and I will fight this disease till I can't breath anymore!  This cancer chose the wrong dude to screw with!

Hi Cois

Only saw the last few posts today. So happy that you got the trainer. I have a wheel on Tacx that is lying in the garage. Since we moved to a smaller place I do not use it. Should you want that, maybe to train with your wife, let me know. I will arrange to get it to you and assist with setup

I got a direct mount trainer, so will not be able to use the wheel... There might be someone else who might be able to use it though?

I could only do 5km tonight. Started feeling very nauseous and dizzy. Guess my body will take some time to get with the program.

Thank you to every one for the support over the past two years. Some days have been bloody bad, but I have a mission and I can’t let everyone on Bikehub down! I have to win this!

Hi Cois, I haven't been on the hub for months, literally.  You have no idea how awesome it is to see this post.  I have often thought of you. Keep pedaling!!!!!

Just came back from the Oncologist.  We are not starting a new chemo treatment at the moment.  But we will be looking at my navel.  When the doctor saw it he said we have one option.  Radiation therapy.  The navel started opening up and the cancer cells are causing it to grow in a abnormal way.  So the wound started tearing open as the cells do not get the correct information on where to go and what to do.

So it sounds like the next two weeks (when Momentum approves the treatment) I will start the radiation therapy.  Wo I will know by this weekend when we start.

So I overdid it a bit.

A combination of a crap seat and not being able to sit properly due to the colostomy I injured my Perineum the weekend.

So today was a little tough on me. Just glad I was very busy at the office today. So will hit the cycle shops to get a new saddle that won't hit my Perineum.

The big problem is that is where the tumour was removed. There is a little amount of muscle left at my rear (the reason why I need the colostomy). So it is still tender and an area that I need to nurse and tend to even though it is not being used.

Thanks, Sir

I got one on the weekend. Tested it and it feels kinder to the parts that got violated by the other saddle.

Did a 15 km session last night and did not struggle this morning to sit down in the car but thank you for the willingness for the assistance.
