Hi Hubbers!

I have a pair of white Giro LTZ II gloves which are now mostly black... mostly on the palms... I have given them a light scrubbing, chucked them in the washing machine, soaked them, etc etc etc, but still no joy.

Are there any good cleaning products out there that won't damage the material? Thanks in advance!

I have these. White palms.

Whom ever thought white and bike go together was smoking cheap dagga.

While wearing them I just dab a few drops of washing liquid on and rinse in the hand basin.

They will never be white again but I don't care. As long as they clean.

Just get rid of the white gloves. Michael Jackson is dead anyways.

have you considered black gloves instead?

have a white cycling top that did a muddy race and I have never been able to get that pristine again...my lesson learnt, white is only white for the first part of your first ride.

I've considered the black, but like how the white looks... when it's actually white...   obviously I haven't learned my lesson since I bought white Versus socks as well

:D  :D Sorry for laughing, but you should have know better than to buy white gloves. Trying to make up for laughing: My wife says something called "Vanish" is pretty good at getting rid of greasy stains, for what it's worth.

Thanks! I'll try Vanish. Long live MJ!

Thanks Hubbers!

That's a cool race glove.

White gloves work so hard.

Very hard to keep them radiant white, if not impossible.

Get new ones.

Get white if you are sponsored and can throw them at your fans at the end of your race.

Black is long-lasting.

just tell yourself the white is good for road safety and accept the maintenance attached to it :P

Vanish works well. Squirt liberally onto the gloves. Let it soak in the vanish for about 30min before washing. Use a warm water cycle otherwise they just come out smelling nice.

How do I know this? If i let my wife do my cycle kit washing my bibs will be in her drawer, my tops in my daughters drawer and my sock in the broom cupboard with the furniture polish
