Pieter1 Posted March 7, 2019 Share That Mastadon is a great album, but pic discs sound horrendous.Really? Why is that?
Mudsimus Posted March 7, 2019 Share Really? Why is that?A pressing plant disclaimer. "It should be noted that Picture Discs may offer a lower acoustic quality, especially an increase in the acoustic noise in the initial and final grooves of the record and in the transitions between tracks. When using standard printing, a moiré effect may occur on the record as a result of interference effects (between the grooves of the record and the screening of the underlying label); the intensity of this phenomenon depends on the type of the pattern which is printed on the label." Red Robin Posted March 8, 2019 Share Enjoy The Cure concerts! I remember the first time I went back to England after emigrating to SA. It ws so amazing to be able to see bands that I had not had the opportunity to see in SA. And music festivals too. Reading and Glastonbury just blew my mind. banna and kosmonooit
kosmonooit Posted March 9, 2019 Share Reading and Glastonbury just blew my mind. Glastonbury has to be experienced to be believed, Off The Scale to put it mildy, in all senses of those words. How much are tickets now? at least 300 squids, and they (like 200 000) sell out in 10 mins. Not just the mainstream tents and stages, but the hundred of side shows and underground gigs. A pilgrimage that should be made any and all music lovers. One thing that is Great about Britain, is its music festies.
