Headshot Posted March 1, 2019 Share https://www.pinkbike.com/news/review-enve-m735e-wheelset.html Scary failures on a supposedly strong (and heavy) carbon wheelset. DieselnDust

duringd Posted March 1, 2019 Share Whilst I still have ENVE parts on my bike (wondering now) my past experience with ENVE and them actually taking blame for their work failing is rather appalling. Broke a handlebar stem in a rather bad crash and went to ENVE with the problem. They called the break "delamination of carbon due to incorrect stem bolt (1 of 4) used". Concerning with your life could potentially depend on parts holding true to form when needed. But that is/was just me.......
Pure Savage Posted March 1, 2019 Share Wonder how long will be around, company being sold off soon.
MrJacques Posted March 1, 2019 Share Yeah, they messed up with that one. Maybe part of the reason Santa Cruz started making their own wheels? Danny MacAskill had to try hard to break a set of them, although I do see comments of breakages in the article the OP has posted. Phil Kmetz (from skills with Phil) is sponsored by Nobl wheels and those have held up really well to his abuse. MrJacques Posted March 1, 2019 Share Guerrilla Gravity should make carbon wheels using their new tougher carbon process. Dexter-morgan

Carmichael Posted April 23, 2021 Share So my year old Dale with Enve M50 wheels , shows cracking around spokes in rim at the back wheel. Anyone else experience this. How is ENVE with warranty claims?

How is ENVE with warranty claims? It sounds like they claim to be very good with warranty, in practice it might not be the case.Hopefully they were OEM and Enve cant claim the wheelbuilder messed up the tension. rudi-h Posted April 23, 2021 Share i have enve wheels and love it. all manufacturers have messed up a select few products along the line. Not that I condone inferior quality by any means, but as a whole I don't think they're any different to other manufacturing companies. It's all about how the local agents / suppliers deal with any issues. I broke 2 commencal frames due to poor welding. They owned up to the problem and didn't try to shift the blame, so I'll buy another commencal any day. Carmichael
