Vetseun Posted December 28, 2019 Share Am considering doing this as prep for 36One, anyone done it? Opinions?Guy that I rode with now during the Christmas weekend has done both.He says Trans Xhariep was much harder than 361 in his opinion.I have only done Xhariep. It is a proper ride. No walk in the park that is for sure. Knersboy

fanievb Posted December 28, 2019 Share Did both as well and thought it was only me thinking Xhariep was tougher!I thought I was going to die on TransXhariep. The wind and heat was something else. I'd rather do 2 back2back 36One's
fanievb Posted December 28, 2019 Share Am considering doing this as prep for 36One, anyone done it? Opinions? If the wind blows and its hot, it's a tough day out. It gets hot with 36One as well, but at least you cover most of the distance at night.
