Best handlebar tape for gravel?

Double wrap. I liked cork tape on top

 

Tyre volume and pressure still the main way to make the ride easier on your arms and hands

 

100% with the above... but if you can't double wrap the whole bar, including drops, just do the tops from the levers inwards. Failing that, just an extra layer (or two) on the tops as a bare minimum

Never could get comfy on a gravel bike. Propably because I ride with with straight stiff arms. Still struggling to this day to get my arms more bent and relaxed

Simple question - best gravel bar tape? Or double wrapping?

Double wrap my GW friend!  The cheapie - which is normally thicker, at the bottom, and the nice one on the top.  Only needs to double wrap the top part of the bars.

Ritchey make a specific thick tape - double wrapped on top - comes out as about 3cm thick bars - super comfortable.

 

Might have to import it though - I did

Double Wrap for sure

 

Placed an order yesterday after 1pm for some tape delivered this morning in JHB at 7:30am installed by 8am, thanks Farrnus  :clap:

Double wrap and...a shock stop stem!

Works 100's!!

This is the way I went and it works better than what I expected.
