How does bikes actually secure to the upright part?Easy to use?Solid quality?Any security - bike lock etc?How does it look folded - semi neat? Secure to upright part: bungee cord or strapEasy to use: very, but could be awkward to work above your headSolid quality: yes, the tow-bar rack (which is all of the above plus a rectangular frame underneath it) seems over-engineeredSecurity: none, run a cable and lock through it allFolded: the upright part folds flat between the wheel cradles Would I buy another Holdfast rack: yes (*and only because the Thule stuff is so expensive). I add a second strap to the front wheel to prevent wheel flap in the wind, and put a lappie on the frame to prevent scratching.
