Combine this with great riding and a stunning race village … a relaxed weekend is what awaits all entrants Entries opening on the 25th of November! Keep your diaries open for the 4-5 April 2020! Weekend Warrior: Grabouw sponsored by Tru- Cape is a fund raising initiative for the Hoërskool Grabouw High School. Monies raised will go towards a new class room for the grade 4 learners of the Grabouw Hoerskool. Stay tuned for updates on the planned project. We’re targeting the families – so each Adult can bring one U14 for free. Adult Entry is R850 (includes accommodation), and additional kids at R300 each. Also, we have 3 routes – Bronze 10km, Silver 25km and Gold 50km – to cater for all fitness and ability levels. What happens if you don’t want to ride both days? Well, the extra good news is you can also still enter as a day rider either for the Saturday or Sunday, at R300 per person, includes a finishers medal. It’s more than just the ride as we build our entire race village with allocated camping sites, a Chill Zone, Live Music, Hot showers, Flush Toilets and plenty of Food options. With a mechanical bull, jumping castle and kids play area. There is plenty for the little ones to do while the older ones get stuck into some craft beverage options located in our chill zone. Entries will be open by the 25th of November. We have limited tents available in our Red Cherry Adventures tented village, book early to avoid disappointment. #WeekendWarriorGo to Event Page
PjT Posted February 12, 2020 Share I know its still far ahead, but would like to hear who has done this and their feedback/comments? The route ?The spirit/atmosphere ? The general setup and organizing (i.e. tents etc) ?
Rouxenator Posted March 10, 2020 Share I did this last year and the new format does not work for me. I much preferred the previous years when it was a Saturday morning ride with a fairly demanding long route that was oh so rewarding upon finishing it. This also happens to fall on the same day as the Fine Breede MTB.
