enid Posted February 17, 2020 Share Just a shot in the dark, but there isn't maybe someone or a company that does a custom bike rack "towbar" installation or modification for the sole use for a bike rack. Don't want to spend R12000 for a Jeep towbar in order to use my R1000 bike rack. Edited February 17, 2020 by enid
Dadbod Racing Posted February 17, 2020 Share Hi Enid, Any welder can customise a bike rack for you. It won't be pretty, it will be heavy but it will serve the purpose. Goodluck

The Ouzo Posted February 17, 2020 Share just make sure that whatever you put on will not void your vehicle warranty In all likelyhood that 12000 Jeep t/bar has been designed and tested to work with the vehicles electronics and safety features. MORNE Posted February 17, 2020 Share also, since you are from Pretoria and assuming thats what Jeep quoted you...try Hi-Q Silver lakes (Clinton) or Exaust & tire city menlyn (Justin) or any other for that matter. Both stores are owned by family and they do lots of this work for the big car brands in the respective areas. A lot of the showrooms just send your car to the shop next door/ down the road and double charge you lol. Go find out from one yourself about a Bosal or the likes.
