I was thinking the very same thing and knowing how "efficient" people are at their jobs when it pertains to mass processing of humans, I am going to go all-in and say no-one is going to check either. Which proves how much a sham this whole business is.

I spent a week in Holiday-Inn Netcare last week and had to undergo 2x tests - one PCR, one 24h - both negative, all so that I could go to a "green zone" ward which allowed visitors once daily between 3pm and 4pm. No visitor testing is done at all...

We had a baby in hard lockdown last year. My wife had to get tested every single time she left the hospital and went home and needed to go back before the big day. I never had to get tested even once. As her doc said....doesn't make sense AT ALL lol

When someone finally gets it done please give an update,

Any idea ons arriving 30min before or after test slot? Would that be allowed?

I can only arrive at 5:30 but a slot is either 5 or 6?

I don't know if one can still substitute. If so, I have two entries free to a good home.

PM sent

Ok with my tail between my legs, I apologize to those who are at the testing station as I've only just seen an IG post where they've said the testing station will open at 8am.

Have you seen cyclists merrily rolling through stop streets? Reading is not high on their list of things to do.

I guess this still applies then hahahaha

Presuming the time slot is for the hour. Not sure how strict they will be. We booked for 9am and when we got here the 8am crowd hadn’t gone in yet. #slowstart

Moving quickly now - recommend coming after 1000 when the rush is finished

I could connect to the site with my phone, but not from my laptop, wife or parents' phones.
So we used mine to download all of our cards.

The functionality to check the validity via the QR code isn't in place either, if I'm not mistaken.

it is. Got mine off the site last night as mentioned already

https://vaccine.certificate.health.gov.za

Morne we also downloaded it .... to only later learn this IS just a test phase, and step one of a longer process to deliver an electronic vaccination certificate up to "international standards".  And THIS is where the fun starts, as there are no "international standards", not yet.  There are WHO guidelines though .... ours needs to step up a bit before it will be internationally accepted.

Punchline - the current SA electronic card is not worth downloading .... wait until about end November.   JA, was also miffed to hear this.
