Andrew_Smith Posted April 8, 2020 Share Cycling OK, so I was involved in my first crash with a motorist on 12 March 2020. Needless to say it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Doctor said I will be off the bike for 6 - 8 weeks. The whole incident knocked my cycling completely, I considered selling my bike and get back into PC Gaming again...Luckily I have a good cycling friend who is on my case to prevent me from doing this and I am thankful for his friendship. Browsed through my library of memories from the cycling and the nostalgic hit me very hard. It will be a stupid move to sell my bike and leave cycling because it only provided good things in return.Awesome new friends, coffee shops, amazing views, suffering and not to mention the health benefits too! And overall well-being.So here goes: 2008 Giant TCR Advanced T-Mobile Team Full Ultegra 6800 Groupset(except for front derailleur - R8000)53/3911-28T4iiii Precision Power MeterShimano R550 SPD-SL pedalsGiant SLR 0 30mm (these are bulletproof, was completely unharmed in the accident)Continental GP5000 25CSwissStop Yellow Kingfi'zi:k Antares Versus-X K:ium SaddleDeda Elementi Presa Handlebar TapeRitchey WCS Carbon Logic II Road HandlebarsGiant Stock Stem Weight: 7,2kg Edited April 8, 2020 by Andrew_Smith johnson, Hairy, Matt and 13 others

johnson Posted April 9, 2020 Share '02 Wheeler 4100 I've only had this bike for a couple of months and have done about 1000km's with it.It was a "Garage Find" when I visited a client of mine. I Saw it by accident covered with a ton of dust.He didn't want any money for it, said if I wanted it I can take it. Obviously I did.I Don't know the exact age of this bike but he told me he had it since '02 hence me calling it a '02 model. The only two parts that is not original is the handle bar and stem. The biggest tire that would fit into the frame was a 25 so I made a slight modification to fit a 28. I Stripped it down completely, cleaned and serviced every part and put it back together again. She cleaned up pretty good and is actually in pretty good nick. Also rides like a dream.
