Tacx i-Magic software support needed

Teardrop

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am looking for help to find version 4 software for Tacx i-Magic virtual trainer.

As Garmin (new support of Tacx) have indicated they have no more support for version 4 I am dead in the water. P.S> thanks for the notification that they probably sent via the South Africa post office!

I would really appreciate it if there is someone out there that can assist with Software as we are struggling to re-install the software.

Also does anyone know if it is compatible with windows 10?

Help will be appreciated!

Kind Regards and thanks

Are you referring to Tacx Trainer Software 4? If so, I'm afraid I don't think you're going to get going.
I had problems recently, and as I understand it:
The software still works if it is already installed. But the Tacx servers that it ran on are no longer working, so you can't re-install it, because you need to enter a code, which needs to be verified (which would require their servers to be working), to complete installation.
Mine is thankfully still installed and running, but you can't update anything, do virtual rides, or save your rides, or anything else that would have needed access to their servers.
It does run on Windows 10, despite the fact that some sources say it does not. Mine is happily running on Windows 10. Once my software stops for any reason, I am also buggered.

TTS4 is no longer supported so no new installs will be possible.

You will have to try and buy a 2nd hand laptop or pc from someone who used TTS4

Is there any other software that will link up to old TACX trainers?

Thanks

IF your old trainer (the physical trainer, not a dongle) has Bluetooth, then yes, you can link to third party software like Rouvy, Zwift, etc. If your old trainer does not support Bluetooth, then no, not that I have found. Rouvy etc will find your ant dongle, but not your trainer.

This site has backup links for the software, as well as instructions on how to back up your existing license. It does NOT contain cracks or serialz etc before anyone asks.

I am currently still using TTS4 on Windows 10 without any problems with my Tacx i-magic trainer.
