Rapide Flat vs Rizer handlebar

I am really interested in this flat bar from Rapide: https://www.rapide.co.za/product/rapide-controlstick-760-9-flat-bars/

But, they have been out of stock for a while now and I suppose when they're in stock again the price fill go up.

Now the question is, what difference will this rizer bar make for XC/marathon riding?

Put on the riser bar and lift one 10mm spacer ontop of the stem

The 5mm higher cockpit might not even be felt by you if at all

Makes sense, thanks.

I have a Cannondale Scalpel  (Size XL) with a 1.5" steerer / stem.

My choices for stems are thus limited to Cannondale stems which are pricey

Wanted to lift my cockpit a bit.

Got a 38mm  Rapidé SkyRize-R 780 Bar

https://www.rapide.co.za/product/rapide-skyrize-r-780-bars/

It was really a cheap solution for me and feels really nice

My drop from saddle to bar is now about 4cm less

The bar is 120g heavier that the carbon bar I took off, but so nice looking and  stiff  - so no big issue with the few extra grams

Highly recommended

I placed my order from Rapide Saterday evening late and my order is already on it's way.

That's really quick.

After some calculation and thought, I think the Rizer bar would actually suite me better than the flat bar.
