Super Sywurm Posted June 6, 2020 Share I am really interested in this flat bar from Rapide: https://www.rapide.co.za/product/rapide-controlstick-760-9-flat-bars/ But, they have been out of stock for a while now and I suppose when they're in stock again the price fill go up. Now the question is, what difference will this rizer bar make for XC/marathon riding?https://www.rapide.co.za/product/rapide-rise-r-780-9/ Edited June 6, 2020 by Super Sywurm Mongoose!
BaGearA Posted June 6, 2020 Share Put on the riser bar and lift one 10mm spacer ontop of the stem The 5mm higher cockpit might not even be felt by you if at all Super Sywurm and Mongoose!

Mongoose! Posted June 7, 2020 Share I have a Cannondale Scalpel (Size XL) with a 1.5" steerer / stem.My choices for stems are thus limited to Cannondale stems which are pricey Wanted to lift my cockpit a bit.Got a 38mm Rapidé SkyRize-R 780 Barhttps://www.rapide.co.za/product/rapide-skyrize-r-780-bars/ It was really a cheap solution for me and feels really nice My drop from saddle to bar is now about 4cm lessThe bar is 120g heavier that the carbon bar I took off, but so nice looking and stiff - so no big issue with the few extra gramsHighly recommended Edited June 7, 2020 by Mongoose! Super Sywurm Posted June 7, 2020 Share Also have a look at the Lyne flat bars https://www.on-lynecomponents.com/collections/handlebars-stems/products/pulse-alloy-flat-bar. I have been looking at the Lyne bars, but there is a couple of other items I also want to order from Rapide. I would like to place one order and wait for one courier.
