Grant Prince Posted June 18, 2020 Share What can I use to lubricate the stansions on by bike's front susoension. Something like Q20 ok or is there something better on the market?

porqui Posted June 18, 2020 Share Keep Q20 as far away from any bicycle as you can. Just wipe them down with a cotton cloth (old T-shirt)Buy some silicon spray (Spanjaard) and lightly coat. (Q20 is not a lubricant)

Me rida my bicycle Posted June 18, 2020 Share With suspension lube, spray on then push it a couple times into its travel and wipe off. Otherwise when out riding everything sticks to it.
BaGearA Posted June 19, 2020 Share Click on the link in my profile there you'll find a video on how to use Brunox As said above after a cycle or two of your fork, dropper or shock the rest should all be wiped away, otherwise it'll create a funky mess on the seal on your next ride **Stanchion lube IS NOT a replacement for regular maintenance, if the fork is thrashed inside spraying lube on the outside will do nothing The 'lube' is more for keeping the seal supple and soft than it is for actual lubrication Me rida my bicycle, cadenceblur and Grey Hubs
DCJ Posted June 19, 2020 Share I've also used Brunox. To my untrained eye it dis seem to make a difference.https://www.evobikes.co.za/components/brunox-suspension-fork-deodorant.html Edited June 19, 2020 by DCJ
Myth Posted June 19, 2020 Share No never q20 Brunox or WPL stanchion lubeWhere can one get WPL? I haven't been able to find it locally...?
droo Posted June 19, 2020 Share Like happiness, fork lubrication comes from within. Service your fork regularly and you won't need to lubricate anything from the outside. That said, something like Brunox Fork Deo, Veyga Wet Scream, Finish Line stanchion lube or just plain old fork oil can help reduce initial stiction after you've washed your bike. As said above, stay away from aerosols and all purpose oils as they often have additives including chlorine that will swell or attack the rubber in your fork seals. slickjay007 and hansolo
BaGearA Posted June 19, 2020 Share Where can one get WPL? I haven't been able to find it locally...?Super hard to get here Limited suppliers and resellers Best is to import on your own and that's even harder with the current global situation

I took your advice and now my fork is ruined. I couldn't see your disclaimer at the bottom due to poor eyesight. You are not a good person.
