WillemT Posted May 27, 2021 Share So this project has been shelved for a while... Dropped off the frame yesterday to be resprayed... So one of the last items on the list was the shock... I have an old shock that I could fit, but honestly it is at the end of its life... So looking for options for new/secondhand shocks. Now I know the Tallboy was actually designed for 120mm travel upfront, I think... And I've always been a fan of the leftys... Will a 100mm lefty work on this frame? Or am I better off fitting a 120mm reba other... I see there's a nice Reba in the classifieds, new 120mm travel, only downside is it has got a thru axle, so will need to see if I can get spacers for the front hub that I currently have... I doubt it, so will then need to look at a new hub, which would have been the case with the lefty in anyway... Any opinions or advice welcome...
