DieselnDust Posted August 25, 2020 Share Ride a gravel bike and all of a sudden a bike bag becomes cool - you can now ride with your raybans, carry lunch plus tools and jacket, wear normal clothes and pretend to be Lachlan Morton Mostly mine is pretty empty but I look like I'm going long steel colnagotitanium gravel bike you're forgiven, no hail Mary's necessary. Only penance required for that bag is you have to buy an Unno... Wayne pudding Mol
Martin PJ Posted August 25, 2020 Share I use this tool bag attached to a third bottle holder. I have pushed it quite hard and its not come off yet. I have everything but the kitchen sink in there, even a spare seat clamp. I used to ride with a small lunch box containing all the tools, until I wiped out and it gave me a back injury when I landed on the lunch box after going OTB, now I ride with as little as possible in the back pockets. Hairy Posted August 25, 2020 Share Morning Everybody, I was wondering what people on the Hub use as an alternative to a saddlebag? I'm in the market for something that could possibly fit into the back pocket of my jersey or even the pocket of my baggies. This has most likely been discussed extensively in the past but i'm too lazy to search for the thread. Any advice would be much appreciated.Hip Bag is becoming the go to for me Danger Dassie

slickjay007 Posted August 26, 2020 Share Managed to get one of these in the meantime: https://ciovita.co.za/collections/mens-accessories/products/ciovita-pocket-companion Not the ideal solution for everything. I'm liking the portable HDD casing idea!
Spy007 Posted August 26, 2020 Share apidura-racing-saddle-pack-5l-on-bike-2.jpg For me bigger is better. This bag can take all your spares, a full extra set of clothing and a proper lunch. I usually stuff a tent in it to stop things from rattlingLol i have the lizard one and it stays on my bike. Strange how many times I have stopped and people have nothing with them. even basics. Then again I am no weight weenie. Just makes me stronger.... ChrisF
