Ride a gravel bike and all of a sudden a bike bag becomes cool - you can now ride with your raybans, carry lunch plus tools and jacket, wear normal clothes and pretend to be Lachlan Morton

Mostly mine is pretty empty but I look like I'm going long

you're forgiven, no hail Mary's necessary. Only penance required for that bag is you have to buy an Unno...

I use this tool bag attached to a third bottle holder. I have pushed it quite hard and its not come off yet. I have everything but the kitchen sink in there, even a spare seat clamp.

I used to ride with a small lunch box containing all the tools, until I wiped out and it gave me a back injury when I landed on the lunch box after going OTB, now I ride with as little as possible in the back pockets.

Morning Everybody,

I was wondering what people on the Hub use as an alternative to a saddlebag?

I'm in the market for something that could possibly fit into the back pocket of my jersey or even the pocket of my baggies.

This has most likely been discussed extensively in the past but i'm too lazy to search for the thread.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hip Bag is becoming the go to for me

Farr and they do a smaller one - both eat Lycra so you have to cover the straps - the weak link in a great bag

It's a weird velco, works well but Assos costs

Thought of sewing my own... Watched a few youtube videos :)

I'm in the same boat. Already have the concept for a lekker lipstick holder bag on my bike. And then I inherited my ouma's Elna and started to learn to use it.

Etter, dis nie maklik om reguit lyne te stik nie.

For me bigger is better. This bag can take all your spares, a full extra set of clothing and a proper lunch. I usually stuff a tent in it to stop things from rattling

Lol i have the lizard one and it stays on my bike. Strange how many times I have stopped and people have nothing with them. even basics. Then again I am no weight weenie. Just makes me stronger....

Why no spare cassette, no spare cables, no leatherman or chainring? I think you travelling a little light here.

But why?

Not trolling. Genuine question because a well maintained bike doesn't need a mobile workshop dragged behind it.
