Hi Danie,

If you're based Western Cape I can point you to any number of stores which have - I will DM you for your exact area.

We typically carry good stock of this at all times and again, this falls under our essential spares program which we incentivize our dealers to carry.

can you DM me the details of Western cape shops currently carrying this grease in stock please.

I'm out and need a fresh tub

Can you re-concider selling spokes to the end consumer. You sell hubs, cranks, cassettes to the end consumer which all require specialised tools and experience, surely spokes are the same. Local bike shops only stock standard spokes, not even double butted and I have not had much joy getting any other types of spokes through the bike shops.

Hi Diesel,

Most should have so it's hard to specifically say which to go to as we have probably 200 dealers in the Western Cape.

I have DM you to find your exact location, but any store can source this item from us at same or next day turn around times

Hi there,

It's a shame that you haven't had much luck in getting the spokes you need - we even offer spokes in single pieces now and same day delivery to Cape Town (next day to major cities) so there is really no reason your local dealer shouldn't be able to assist you.

Hubs, rims etc are supplied to end consumers as they would still require you have a professional wheel build completed by an experience dealer. The same goes for  the tools and skills required to service hubs.

Let us know which bike shop you would prefer to source spokes from and we will gladly get in touch to sort you out! We literally only carry double butted spokes

Hello Hubbers,

Phew what a year 2020 was!

One I'm sure many of us would like to forget...

We would like to wish each and every one of you a successful year ahead, hopefully finding time to balance life with the people and things we love doing!

From our side, we are excited to announce that there are some great initiatives on the way this year for DT Swiss, but more on that later.

Right now it's important for those who aren't already aware to better understand the production and logistical delays all distributors and therefore all dealers are facing right now, and it goes without saying that all service providers are undoubtedly doing their best to try cater for the explosion in demand that cycling has seen.

As always, we are here to help though so please feel free to fire away with any questions, criticisms or compliments you wish to address!

From all of us at Get Stoked Distribution: Happy riding and stay safe!

Hi Marc

I have been looking, but been unable to find what I think is the correct info on line.

The bearings on my hub are shot .... I found that my chain skipped under loads. So changed the chain, fitted a used GX der and shifter that I had lying around and thought all would be good. Shifting was awesome and then a few km into a ride and the chain skipped again under load.

Last night it dawned on me that it could be hub. Took the wheel off the bike and the cassette was all wobbly on the f/hub body ... slipped the f/hub (with the cassette e-13 still fitted) it was clear the beardings are toast ... teeny tiny little balls came pining out and boom .. that was the problem all along.

Long story short, I am looking for the bearing specs for the following please:

https://www.dtswiss.com/en/wheels/wheels-mtb/all-mountain/m-1900-spline that came with the 2018 AL 29'er Jeffsy https://www.yt-industries.com/en/detail/index/sArticle/1929

Hub requires x2 6902 bearings and the freehub x1 6902 and x1 6802. Have just done mine. They are not full complement. Drop me a PM if you like

Where in CT did you buy from ?

Couple of bearing shops in Paarden Island, must be a good few in Montague Gardens as well. Google "Bearing Man" ....

Local shop in Brackenfell even give you the option for a quality SKF, or a cheaper chinese equivalent
