Press Release

Shaped by everything we’ve learned from 40 years of XC racing, the all-new Chisel is a purebred XC race machine that crushes climbs, rockets out of corners, and rips through rock gardens with the speed and efficiency of the highest-performing, most-capable aluminium XC bike available. Turns out carbon isn’t the only way to the top of the podium, after all.

Very cool, so what is the weight then?

probably looking at around 12.5kg for the Chisel since it s Deore equiped. The Comp is SLX with a mix of M6100 and MT511 cranks so probably upper 11ish.

all depends on the wheels I guess

Very interesting.

I wonder if the Bikehub gear team would do a head-to-head comparison with this and say the equivalent from Signal bikes.

Specialized are the brand, Signal are the pretender - would be keen to see which one offers which.

Why oh why would they not have a frame set only option? Really pisses me off that Spez only offer S-Works as a frame set only option.
