Agreed. Gerrans (the aussie) just repeats exactly what Ant says when he gets asked a question:

Ant: "Simon, given that this group is 5 minutes ahead and it is raining, will they be able to bridge over from the peleton?"

Gerrans: "Well yes exactly, its raining, and they are 5 minutes ahead, so it remains to be seen if they can bridge over from the peleton"

Spot on.!
Although, he does a bit more detail. But its still mostly a repeat of McCrossan said.
It means that I only listen to 50% of what's being said so that I don't get irritated.

And don't get me started on 'Rocking and Rolling'

Their 'Pogatcha has cracked' high pitched rant also wound me up yesterday.
They said very little when they all rolled over the line together.

Is Cav on an Active Recovery ride?
A few good names in the break.

1.Gorilla

2.Boasson Hagen

3.Van Moer

My preferred winners from that group.

Holy carp! A Nexthash rider made the move. I'm like Squirrel hearing about loadshedding.

Also, I would have sworn blind EBH was retired.

I saw now he was on the side of the road pulled over, shoe off, adjusting his cleats.

So Cav's green skin suite was not ready for today.

clearly not going for the win today. After dawing straws on the bus JA got the nod for a break away and break the break the break away. Pat Lefevere must have hopping mad that JV got so much publicity yesterday

Cavendish fiddling with his cleats. Seems the set up isn't ideal for today

I watched a short video a while back where he spoke about how he adjust his own cleats, saddle angle etc himself during stage races depending on how he's feeling and just so that he can be comfortable hence why his mechanics hate him (his words)

Interesting information from Bradley Wiggins who is riding on the back of a motorbike for Eurosport. The 2012 Tour champion said that Cavendish "was rattled this morning" because ASO, the Tour organisers, didn't give him a green skinsuit, the aerodynamic clothing that the 36-year-old prefers to wear on sprint stages.

Usually when he does that mid race, he's looking for the win.

Nope, just like van Avermaet, he's still in the race. Amazingly

Oh, I meant retired from pro cycling, not just the race. Although the same could be said for van Avermaet and Gilbert (who I constantly confuse for one another).
