Custom Painting Cycling Shoes

Anybody custom painted their own shoes?

What did you use and how did it turn out?

Do paint pens last or should you use acrylic paint?

Great talent. Almost a reason to buy white shoes, almost...

I fancy a pair from her, but if I look at her recent client list I’m sure her demand has driven up her pricing.

You have Hasie and the Robots there in the UK.

Doesn't carbon ninja respray shoes? I've seen sole repairs on their Facebook page. Pretty sure they do some uppers restoration work too?

I did some work on my shoes (nowhere near as talented as she is I'm afraid) but it was pretty fun to do. You don't need to have white shoes - as long as you use opaque products. I used Pilot Pintor pens which work extremely well. Seems like the ink/paint is quite permanent - the work has stood up pretty well so far.

For reference - Spez sub6 shoes
