Gunston Posted November 17, 2020 Share I'll be in Cape Town early December for a couple of days and would like to spend as much time on the trails we will be riding for Epic (or as close to it as I can get) while there. Any recommendations on where to stay (was planning on Paarl somewhere) and where to ride while in town? thanks!
JohanDiv Posted November 17, 2020 Share I'd start in Frater Square and pedal up the Mountain Reserve from there. When you get to the top, you basically have access to all the trails going down the mountain in all directions. My favourite is going down the Rhebokskloof Black Route from The Mast in the mountain reserve. And then the orange route loop around the mountain from Rhebokskloof to Spice Route, then through the Diamant Forest back around to town. You can buy permits at Frater Square as well. Cycle4Life - Paarl Posted November 17, 2020 Share go to www.paarladventuretrails.co.za for a comprehensive list of all the trails in and around Paarl, there is more trails than you will be able to finish in a weekend, accommodation is budget dependent but there is a place to stay at almost every price point
