Brake Pad Spreader / Pusher

If you've ever struggled with pushing in brake pistons this seems like a very useful tool. Birzman dual Disc Brake Piston Pusher:

And it should be easy enough to make a budget / diy version:

Wonder why we don't see more of these instead of the usual pad spreader tools. It would have come in handy for myself recently.

What's wrong with a 13mm spanner and a strong hand? A square push and the pistons go back.

Usually that works, but sometimes you have a very sticky piston like I recently experienced and that trick didn't work.

I think this kind of tool would be nice for workshops.

The Birzman one is designed that you could use it without removing the caliper / wheel from the frame, like when you change brake pads.

I have one of these , works great and I don't have to remove the caliper ( my caliper is top loading )

pressing back the pistons is very simple don't over complicate it
