VO2 Posted November 24, 2020 Share Hi there. Does anyone know of any good trails around Newlands forest in CT? I work in the area and I’m looking to do some training in the morning before work.
babse Posted November 24, 2020 Share Vo2 there are plenty of options. The newlands to constantia trail is very easily accessible. This is a great round route to and from work. I too work in newlands and use it often on my own without issue.Table mountain via Rhodes Memorial is also very close by. This opens up many routes on the mountain.UCT XCO trail is also quite some track if you have any interest in that discipline.

capediver Posted November 24, 2020 Share As posted, the Greenbelt trails in Constantia are great for quick rides before or after work. They do morph into the Newlands Forest via Cecila Forest but be aware that anything Table Mountain side in that area needs a permit (Level-3 SANParks Activity Permit).A great source of trail info for that area:http://www.tablemountainbikers.co.zaSAN Parks:https://www.sanparks.org/parks/table_mountain/tourism/activities.phpFurther towards Tokai is TokaiMTB:http://tokaimtb.co.zaGreenbelts Vids: Sid the Sloth and ADJ
