Which one would you go for ?

Evoc bag with the stand for a more secure fit.

Or the Scicon Aerocomfort.

The Scicon seems to have less protection for the wheels, but looks easier to pack without the need to remove bars.

If money isn’t an object, go for the Evoc Road pro bag, it’s the simplest bag to pack and offers great protection. You simply just remove your wheels and that is it.

DM me for more info.

Apart from the obvious:

Light

Durable

Protective

Have a frame for mounting

This part....

"remove your wheels"

It must have wheels, front AND back, (its really shite to drag a bag like this around if it only has back wheels)

And

The wheels must come off (baggage handlers (I'm talking to you SAA!), will break those suckers off in a heartbeat......

Spend the money now and save replacing the bag annually...thank me later...

I dont travel that much to justify the cost of the road pro bag,

I first had an Evoc and it worked well, without issue.

I prefer hard shell type.

I now have the Scicon Aerotech https://www.asgthestore.co.za/product/aerotech-evolution-3-0-tsa-bike-travel-case/  I picked mine up off gumtree for half the price.

I have friends who have the Scicon Aerocomfort and have had issues with bike handlers with damage to shifters/brakes (they eventually built a metal cage to fit over them for added protection).  The zip has also been forced open (although nothing stolen)
