bytme Posted December 21, 2020 Share Hi, I am new in the MTB world, currently I have a Shimano FH-MT400B REAR hub and I would like to replace it with Novatec D712SB. Does any one know anything about the brand Novatec? (good and bad) Kind RegardsS

love2fly Posted December 22, 2020 Share Good brand, reasonably good support from Cape Cycles. I run XD642SB hubs and have had no issues in almost 4 years.
Long Wheel Base Posted December 22, 2020 Share Nothing wrong with NOVATEC. Running them(can't remember the model) on a set of wheels on my road bike. No issues. DieselnDust

Yet to fit them but should make a difference. DieselnDust

I'd be tempted to say that's like polishing a turd except with a Novatec it's probably what it deserved in the first place. droo Posted December 24, 2020 Share Buy a spare axle and keep it in your parts box. You'll need it at some point. DieselnDust
