Barry Posted December 25, 2020 Share Hi Guys, I bought a Merida Reacto for my wife and in the owners hand book are 2 small plates about 10mm x10mm with double side tape.please can someone tell me where they belong on the bike.I think they might be frame protectors i might be mistaken. Graham W Posted December 25, 2020 Share Correct shimano part if you look at f/d side on midway down there is a small window with a 2mm grub screw it's purpose is to support the derailleur from flexing under shifting so needs to be adjusted up against the frame the plate is to protect the frame from the screw Barry 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
