Veebee Posted February 9, 2021 Share why would you need a quick release bottle cage ?
rorydewet Posted February 9, 2021 Share why would you need a quick release bottle cage ?An innovative low profile quick release system that fits between the bottle cages and bike frame that allows each cage to be removed without the need to unscrew the bolts. This lets extra small bike frames to be carried by a rear mounted car racks (by allowing more room between the frame tubes when cages are removed) and prevents cage damage by rear type bike carriers. The perfect solution for preventing damaged bottle cages for all bike frame sizes. WrightJnr, ChrisF, Kerchak and 1 other

Kerchak Posted February 9, 2021 Share why would you need a quick release bottle cage ?My 2nd cage is underneath the frame and I only use it on long rides. I like a clean bike without to many attachments. Don't want a permanent cage mounted below the frame Veebee and Pure Savage

Only downside is you have to use a fidlock bottle. But on Topeak stuff. I was looking for versamounts a while back which no one stocked - no one even knew what I was talking about. I just took a photo and part number along and asked my LBS to call the supplier and order... pretty sure any bike shop can do that for you. capediver Posted February 11, 2021 Share What about the Fabric cageless water bottle?I've had one of these...Nearly crashed a few times trying to clip bottle back in...The bottle is not that secure and eventually gets loose and bounces out too easily... kk6gan Posted February 11, 2021 Share What about the Fabric cageless water bottle? These look great in my opinion. I never had issues clipping the bottle back in but I have had multiple instances of reaching down to find the bottle was MIA. Not cool when you have to climb out of a gorge to get to the closest water supply
