Hi all! Recommendations for repainting a bad scratch on my new alloy MTB frame... who will do a great job and not compromise my Specialized warranty?

Yeah with Spez the warranty will be voided if any 3rd party repaints it.

I doubt you will get any joy from Spez themselves but worth asking to know where you stand.

Done a complete respray on my bike, perfect professional job.  Price reasonable compared to others.

Edit:  After you checked with the Spez agents ...   :)

Is the scratch all the way down to the metal or the base coat?

It looks pretty deep to me... I see the silver below the black paint

I’d phone the shop. I’ll sure they have a connection to do touchups or you could give it a bash if you have a steady hand.

I’m waiting for paint for my bike. Cable rubbed down to the raw carbon.

I can understand voiding the warranty if the whole frame is resprayed, but it looks as if he only wants a scratch touched up.

But I agree, to be safe, confirm with the agents (preferably via email so there is a record of their approval)
