Dalt Posted January 13, 2021 Share Hi.I am new to the forum. What a great platform. I am a proud owner of a Kona Race Lite Cinder Cone Steel Frame Vintage supercool mountain bike. DR ◣◢ Posted January 13, 2021 Share Definitely keep. Original and in that condition. Do a cleanup and enjoy it. I wish I had a classic lady like that in my stable. Matchstix, DieselnDust, Jackie Thamsanqa Maholwana and 3 others

Danger Dassie Posted January 13, 2021 Share Dude. Why even the question! ... KEEP!A beaut, are those Curve cantilevers the original brakeset? Recall Kona coming with Ritchey Logic and Avid. Have those same Curves on my CX/gravel bike. Ballache to setup, but once done they run beautifully.
gtr1 Posted January 13, 2021 Share Gotta keep it. Loved my Kona's. Still have them. My first was a Kona Hahana. And then also a Cinder Cone. Mine is blue. Saw a lot more work than yours. The Hahana has rigid fork. The Cinder Cone has Rock Shock. DieselnDust and Danger Dassie

Kixx Posted January 14, 2021 Share Definitely a keeper! As in part of your estate. If you had to let it go it could fetch 8-10k I would say. If you found a collector that is. I have a 2014 Unit which I plan to keep for good too

Other than the tyres and saddle that bike is pretty much stock standard Danger Dassie

BMXER Posted January 14, 2021 Share If you have memories and space, then keep.Otherwise for the right price, I would consider a sell.Certainly would not try to enhance or change that great bike in any way. arendoog

Fleming Posted January 20, 2021 Share Based on how much seat post you have exposed I would say the bike is too big for you and you sell to me. Seriously though unless you find a collector or person who will appreciate it for what it is you are not gonna get much. If you dont need the money I would definitely keep it. 90's Konas will always be timeless classics.
