Hi All

I need to find someone who can repair / maintain a Tom Tom Spark 3 GPS watch - Need a new battery or can swap it in from my Runner 3 (screen stuffed) if need be.

Any help appreciated.

I think support stopped about 2 years ago - sorry

I know - was hoping that there's a privateer out there ............. somewhere, that can strip and replace a battery.

Have you asked a jewellery store.

One with old man in the back sitting crunched over with a big magnifying glass wearing a brown sweater from 1972.

Actually thinking about it now. You will probably have better luck at one of those Paki cell phone repair shops. They have every size of screwdriver you can think off.

I bought aftermarket batteries from aliexpress and installed my own.

I stuffed up the first battery (punctured it) and only by pure miracle managed to solder the 0.00001 nano millimeter wires.

(Because I also broke a little plug on the watch.) And the polarity of the little plug is also wrong. It works, but I have since moved to Garmin.

I still have 2 batteries you can have. (One to stuff up and one to make work.) I'm in Bloemfontein.

If you have no use for those batteries I'd be happy to take them off your hands - I'll PM you!!
