A bike to replace MrNyati's stolen Scott?

Recommended Posts

Nice, we getting there

I see a number of decent bikes on the hub for under R7k.  Think that would be a good target.

Next step to find out how tall Mr Nyati is so that we can match him with the correct size bike.

Thanks for running with this!

Contribution made.

I really hope he ends up with a nice new bike.

If Linden Cycles have the connections and if there's enough money, maybe they can assist with a year of insurance and maintenance as well. That's just a suggestion if the option is available.

Let's make this forum work for a greater cause. Is there anyway in the Randburg area that's willing to run a fund to gather money for this family so they can replace their stolen MTB? I'm willing to start with a R500 donation to get her husband mobile again. Admin, maybe you can assist here with the fund?

Mod Edit to include bank details:

Thank you all for the feedback and commitment to contributions

I'm pretty sure we can make this work and change a families circumstances so they can believe in humanity again

I'm willing to do the fund collection and liaise with Linden Cycles. Can we set a deadline for any donations for Friday evening 8pm and then I'll take it from there? I'll keep everything as transparent as possible and post a list of all the donations on this thread. Please PM or email me if you'd like to remain anonymous.

Please don't feel compelled to donate but do realise in situation like this, even a very small donation makes a difference to the collective pool.

My email address is Buff@absamail.co.za

Banking details:

Cheque Acc

Acc no. 711063528

Branch code: 632005

Please use Nyati and your forum name as reference and send confirmation to my email address

Donation made - I like backing great causes.  Thanks for putting the note out.

Morning all... so are you all ready for this??? Total amount cleared so far = R12 500 ... and more to come I'm sure as ABSA is on a go slow on payday week.

How freaking awesome is that? Thank you all so much for your contributions to this cause, this will allow us to replace the bicycle and possibly do a bit more as well. You're all Rock Stars
